Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental operatory for procedures, including sterilization of instruments
- Assist dentists during complex restorative and surgical procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records using our digital Dentrix software system
- Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up support
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
