Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental radiographs and perform preliminary patient assessments
- Manage patient charts and digital dental records
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Coordinate lab work and inventory management
- Maintain OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
