Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implants, crowns, and orthodontics
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with advanced equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance for multi-procedure cases
- Maintain digital patient records and practice management software
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials for specialized procedures
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DA license in California
- Minimum 2 years experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- Certification in digital radiography and infection control
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging software
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instrumentation
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced specialty environment
