Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs accurately
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain digital records using Dentrix software
- Provide chairside support and comfort measures to anxious patients
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Train new team members on clinic protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA) in California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
