Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols strictly
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate with front desk on patient flow and scheduling
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CDA) or willingness to obtain immediately
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred (training provided for qualified candidates)
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Florida state dental radiography permit (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
