Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and extractions
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation per OSHA protocols
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient charts and electronic health records efficiently
- Deliver chairside support during treatments with exceptional patient communication
- Order inventory and maintain a well-organized treatment area
- Provide post-op instructions and follow-up care guidance
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis, Sirona) and Eaglesoft software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
