Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned units (ER, ICU, Telemetry)
- Adhere to hospital protocols and state nursing regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Assist with orientation/training of facility staff
- Maintain infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license acceptable)
- 1+ years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP if applicable)
- Flexibility to work 16-24 hours weekly
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Travel nursing experience preferred
