Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras)
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- CDA certification or DANB Radiology/Infection Control credentials
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (DEXIS, Carestream)
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
