Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and patient examinations
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Deliver post-procedure care instructions
- Coordinate with lab technicians for prosthetics
Qualifications
- Florida Dental Assistant License required
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Experience with digital imaging (DEXIS, Carestream)
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
