Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions
- Manage patient flow and ensure seamless appointment transitions
- Perform chairside assistance with 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Update digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Order inventory and maintain a sterile, organized operatory
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of dental insurance billing procedures
- Spanish fluency a strong plus
