Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems accurately
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Coordinate treatment schedules and inventory management
- Maintain a sterile, organized, and efficient operatory environment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license (TX State Board)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
