Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and complex procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions as directed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Manage patient records accurately and efficiently using practice management software.
- Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current State of Tennessee Dental Assistant license is required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control.
