Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and patient care
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory of dental supplies
- Delicate patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Execute digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental setting
- Expertise in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona preferred)
- Proven track record of HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
