Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and ensure proper sterilization protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate dental records
- Prepare treatment rooms and stock clinical supplies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with insurance billing and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings
- Valid Massachusetts dental radiography license
