Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suction, and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Deliver post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (TX state)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in dental settings
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
