Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Maintain sterile equipment and implement infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Assist in dental lab procedures and material preparation
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and inventory management
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (AZ)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental practice
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dental software (Epic, Dentrix, etc.)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
