Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA compliance standards
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform chairside dental impressions
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Manage digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or radiology license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for all procedures
- Strong communication abilities for patient education
- Detail-oriented with infection control expertise
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
