Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using EMR systems
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in acute care setting
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with exceptional experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced hospital environments
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
