Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments per OSHA standards
- Take digital dental impressions and process X-rays accurately
- Manage patient flow and schedule coordination for seamless operations
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order and inventory dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB registration required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid North Carolina dental radiography license
