Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including crown prep, extractions, and restorative work
- Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate with front office staff on patient flow and scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Experience with digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to calm anxious patients
- Valid CPR certification
