Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries
- Ensure compliance with FDA and pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior pharmacy experience required – we provide full training!
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Florida Pharmacy Technician Trainee license (assistance provided)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
