Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument sterilization, dental impressions, and material preparation
- Manage patient records using digital systems (Epic/Carestream experience preferred)
- Administer digital radiography and intraoral photography
- Implement OSHA/CDC infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient scheduling and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain sterile operatory and supply inventory management
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant License (RDA or DA license)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray license
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (certification program preferred)
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
