Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards per OSHA guidelines
- Perform digital radiography and chairside assistance with advanced dental technology
- Take accurate dental impressions and fabricate temporary restorations
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide chairside comfort and patient education
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate (CODA certified)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental imaging
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- Dentrix/Eaglesoft software experience required
