Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize equipment
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting efficiently
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials for optimal workflow
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (DEXIS/DEXIS Imaging preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
