Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Provide exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Manage digital dental records and practice software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Coordinate treatment plans and post-procedure follow-ups
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification required
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in radiography and sterilization techniques
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
