Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive phone and video-based patient assessments to evaluate symptoms, medical history, and acuity levels.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and triage recommendations to patients, caregivers, and referring providers.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and care coordinators to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient satisfaction and safety.
- Stay current with clinical best practices and triage protocols to ensure quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in triage, telehealth, or clinical settings.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and computer applications.
