Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify prescriptions for correct dosage and patient information.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist pharmacists with medication management and record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification (PTCB/ExCPT).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Current BLS/First Aid certification preferred.
