Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Provide basic patient care under supervision (feeding, positioning, toileting)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean environments
- Assist with patient transportation and equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Texas CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly/ill patients
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Clear background check and drug screen
