Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Provide basic patient care under supervision of nursing staff
- Transport patients safely within the facility
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Adhere to all HIPAA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain Indiana CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Compassionate demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
