Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and other health metrics
- Assist with daily living activities and maintain patient hygiene standards
- Support nurses in clinical procedures and documentation tasks
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active DC CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and compassionate patient care approach
