Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Ensure patient rooms meet strict sanitation standards and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient care needs
- Participate in shift handovers and care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
