Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics to ensure resident safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification or eligibility to obtain certification (we offer training programs for qualified candidates).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
