Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature as directed by the nursing staff.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and organized, and assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of patient care plans, symptoms, and progress.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
