Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately monitor and document patient vital signs and health observations
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for assigned patients
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and equipment setup
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current Minnesota CNA certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for elderly or vulnerable populations
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
