Responsibilities
- Provide daily patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations
- Support patients with meals and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Report patient status changes and concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with rehabilitative exercises and therapeutic activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of state-approved CNA training program
- Active Florida CNA certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
