Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Support patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or hoyer lifts safely.
- Document patient care plans, behaviors, and changes in condition accurately in electronic records.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Illinois CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate nature with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
