Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document resident vital signs and health status
- Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition/hydration
- Support mobility and transfer residents safely
- Companionship and emotional support for elderly residents
- Maintain clean, sanitized living environments
- Follow individualized care plans and facility protocols
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and families
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate demeanor with elderly population
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Background check and TB test required
