Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of RNs and LPNs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and report abnormalities to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans, dietary needs, and daily updates.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients by maintaining proper hygiene standards.
- Document daily care activities and any changes in patient condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Follow strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain through our sponsored training program).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a diverse team.
