Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide timely medication reminders and track daily schedules.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Document daily care logs and report any changes in client health to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely (up to 50lbs).
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred).
