Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients who require special diets.
- Document patient care plans, daily progress, and any changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and families regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA Certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR/BLS Certification is strongly preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
