Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and treatments.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and organized.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas or examinations.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
