Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn, reposition, and transfer patients to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
- Assist with feeding and monitoring nutritional intake for patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
