Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients during meal times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, adhering to strict infection control and sanitation protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, listening to their needs and concerns.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation and availability for flexible shifts.
