Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and basic health assessments in a remote setting.
- Prepare and maintain electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient follow-ups and appointment scheduling.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and secure messaging platforms.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate referrals and specialist appointments for patients.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and hospital policies remotely.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Proven experience working in a remote or telehealth environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Strong computer literacy and typing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
