Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Provide personal hygiene care and ensure the comfort and dignity of patients.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with medical procedures and patient documentation.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current State of Florida CNA Certification (required).
- CPR/BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
