Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per healthcare standards
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean, safe environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary - we provide full training!
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment health screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for others
- Must obtain Illinois CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
