Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care under nursing supervision
- Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Support rehabilitation and therapeutic activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior healthcare experience required
- Valid Indiana driver's license (if transporting patients)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must complete paid training program successfully
