Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Support meal services and maintain patient nutrition
- Assist with therapeutic activities and social engagement
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior healthcare experience required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Valid Washington State driver's license preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate nature with patience for elderly care
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification within 90 days
