Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision
- Assist patients with mobility and daily activities
- Document patient observations and care accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to ensure patient comfort
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Support patients during meals and medication administration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Texas CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail in documentation
- Passion for patient-centered care
