Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Engage patients in meaningful social and recreational activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary – we provide paid training!
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Current CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Willingness to obtain Texas CNA certification within 120 days
